Nope! The second one was in at least as bad condition as the first with the same issue. The plastic motor seat they used broke again.
All of you I'm sure know that the motor seat below the actual motor isn't attached to anything on the mill, it's just out in left field hanging out. If it were metal that wouldn't be a problem, but they used a hard plastic (painted to look like metal-I think they tried to pull a fast one).
So I worked something out with HF and I kept the first one at a discounted rate and since Grizzly sells the same mill, I ordered a motor seat from them for $19 including shipping. Nice, it was here in 3 days. Grizzly rocks! AND, it was cast iron, the way it should be from the start.
So My total cost was still less than $425 for my Mini Mill even though it took a week longer to get it to be usable. I'm a happy guy! :)
