[GrizHFMinimill] Re: Strange mill problem

Throw the mill on it´s back, get a flashlight and inspect the spindle for dirt, small chips or anything that could have an offsetting effect. Next get a r8 collet, blue it up, tighten it down and see where it makes bearing contact.
Could be your spindle is ground too wide deeper on the inside or the bored part is not properly parallel oriented. Could be, but it would be the first we hear of here.
You did set the preload properly after you installed the belt drive? If no, your problem can be caused by thi, too.
