For aluminum, I use a foam brush dipped into WD-40, and run a thin layer over the area to be cut. It cuts down on the splatter mess, overspray, and waste. I also will paint the cutter between movements.
What kind of cutters are you using and the sort of operations?

Subject: [GrizHFMinimill] drip coolant
I make my living with my X2 mini mill and I've got a bunch of aluminum parts that I need to mill. Has anyone put together a simple drip coolant system on their mill? I have plans to build an enclosure for the mill at some point with flood coolant, but it's something that's going to have to wait a while. But it would sure be handy if I didn't have to manually drip coolant onto the cutter while.
If anyone has a link or information on setting up a simple drip coolant setup I would really appreciate the info.
