Hey guys, it's been a long time since my last post...I have recently come across a larger mill so my Microlux has got to go.... I upgraded it with an R8 spindle (with an entire new gearbox) and installed the push button style spindle lock. Since the gearbox change, I barely used the machine...all of the gears are still nylon and are in 100% perfect shape. The base casting has been replaced because I couldn't get the gibs adjusted exactly to my liking...now it's good. The table has 1 drill mark in it when someone at my work fiddled with it. The machine was recently disassembled, cleaned, and lubed per the swarfrat DVD... It will come with the entire set of R8 collets which are brand new in their tubes, and the entire old gearbox with the MT spindle in it (and striped gears)....I know it's not worth a ton, so I'll accept a reasonable offer.
