I have promised to write up an article for the MiniMill group on my
experiences with using a cordless drill motor driven by a home built PWM
controller. The major reason I have not completed the article is I am
building a real project (Webster Engine) using the mill with power feed
and want real world testing before putting the article with notes out
there.
There are several versions of motors out there if you search the 'net.
My belief is until it is tested under real world conditions like a hot
Australian summer and day long sessions it is not worth putting pen to
paper.
Cheers,
Andrew in Melbourne.
