[GrizHFMinimill] Power feed on X - my version of engaging/disengaging drive unit.

Now that I have found a way to get pictures uploaded I wanted to share my version of power feed for the x-feed.

I know there have been many different ways of doing this, but I want something that is easy to engage/disengage and be out of the way and yet easy to reach. This is my method of getting it accomplished. Please look it over, comments are always welcome. You can find it in fmvf (Frank's).

Now the only thing I still have a problem with is the on-off switch with built-in relay that is used in the mill and lathe I got from LMS. The one on the lathe will not *lock* on anymore so I removed it and installed a normal on/off switch. I can't see replacing it with a replacement as it is only a matter of time when it'll do it again. As always just when you need it most.

The other thing I did is replaced the speed pots (cheaply made) with wire wound pots, these gave me much better control and wire wound pots don't wear out nearly as fast as standard carbon pots. The one on my variable power supply has been in operation for over 40 years, it is still going strong.

Now it is time to lay me down and go to sleep.
