[GrizHFMinimill] Trouble Removing the Shaft of Z Axis

Hey group. I just got a new HF mini mill and was tearing it down to clean it up and give it a good once over. I was following the directions given in a educational DVD from Swarfrat Enterprises. I have found their videos to be a great benefit and worthwhile investment, but now Im stuck. I took a video of the problem Im having and posted it to youtube. Basically I cant remove the shaft of my z axis and the head of the mill wont go up. If anyone has any suggestions I would be greatly appreciative.
