Thanks for posting this!!! I am thinking of switching from the DRO set
I use now. I have a terrible time with the telephone plugs making good
contact at the head. Cranking the handle along and the reading just
stops changing. I've even considered cutting off the plugs at the
reading head and soldering wires directly to the lands. I have a
temperature controlled soldering station and fine tips so it should not
be too hard.

ON the page is mentions that you added length to the cables with a USB
extension cord. Does this mean the cables have USB connectors???
