The first set of batteries that I had lasted about 4 months. The second set lasted a few days. They do shut off after a short period of time,I suppose that should extend battery life.I haven't replaced the batteries this time, will soon.
Hope they last longer then a few days.

Subject: [GrizHFMinimill] igaging scale batteries keep dying
I just setup my igaging scales on my mill. It seems the battery life -- with the batteries that came with the scales -- is like one day. I used the scales for a few hours today and they worked great. I came back a few hours later and the displays were so dim I could hardly read them. Unplugging/replugging helped a tiny bit. Replacing the batteries worked fine. Then those died after a few hours of use too...
I notice the displays sleep after a few minutes but the scales still track movement. So, something must be always running.
Are the free batteries just horrible?
Do people unplug the displays or remove their batteries when not in use?
