It's present in the el-cheapo Chinese scales. You get it by hitting a
combination of buttons. The scale stays in that mode, I think, until
cancelled. I suspect it would drain the batteries rapidly. However,
it's just the thing you'd want for a computer interface.

You'd have to google the cheap Chinese scales for the details, I don't
have them handy at the moment.
