Re: [GrizHFMinimill] Eight cent spring safety for spindle lock

To join the thread; I use the chuck key handle for a spindle lock.
I put a rare earth magnet on the end of the toothed shaft so when I am
finished with the chuck it goes directly on the front of the machine,
right in front of my eyes. As I reach for the power switch, I look at
that chuck!! I don't turn on the machine unless I see that chuck. I
even thought at one time of putting a magnetic interlock switch on the
front so if the chuck isn't there, the machine will not turn on.
