Now if anyone has any great tips on how to convince my wife a $ 1800 mill is a good idea, please let me know.
Show her a heap of great information on the more expensive one, tell her you really want it and it would make things so much better for you. When she says no you cant afford it, sulk a bit and then say well what about this cheap one? lol
