I have posted photos in the album "Counterbalance weight". If you are considering modifying your minimill you may want to consider using negator springs, (constant force springs), for counterbalancing. There are many postings on this site discussing this method. McMaster Carr has appropriate size springs at reasonable prices and it could result in a more compact installation. If I had it to do over again I would have gone this route.
