I'm considering upgrading my mill with the Little Machine Shop large table upgrade and the solid column. Just curious if anyone has done this and, if so, was it worth it?
I'd like a bit more travel and I don't use the tilting column; it seems the solid column would be, well, more solid.
I'd have to modify my DRO scale install but that wouldn't be a big deal; so - pros / cons?
