Awhile back I was browsing thru the Photos section of this forum & spotted some old photos showing a tapered gib mod. The poster was fromday2, or Al Day. He was active from about 2002 to 2009 (the date of his last post).
I'm curious if anyone else has tried the mod over the years, and if so, how it worked out for them. There was some interest but I didn't find any direct evidence that it had been done by anybody else.
