If you turn the mill on at full speed does it still trip the kitchen breakers? If not I'm betting on a noisy controller fooling your GFCI. If this is the case it should be worse at lower speeds and perhaps not be a problem at all at full. 

I did a quick search for a schematic but wasn't able to find one.

If I understand this correctly, the circuit the mill is on is just another circuit in the main panel and the mill is the only thing on that circuit. Also in the main panel is the kitchen circuit and it is that circuit that sometimes trips when the mill is used.

Assuming I have all that right; the only thing that makes sense in my mind is a grounding issue that is tripping the GFI outlets. 

Am I correct in that the main breaker for the kitchen circuit does not trip and it's the GFI outlet itself that does?
