You're looking at the x2 or perhaps X3, I haven't checked the prices
on them lately, though. I got mine from Grizzly, however Little
Machine Shop has a good selection and all the repair parts.

The X series have limitations, work envelope is one, and the tilting
column is a weak point. There's lots of very good ways to work around
not having a tilting column. You also want a square column.

There's also considerations if you want to eventually go CNC as well.

You don't really need the metal gears, I've had plastic gears last a
long time. A belt drive modification would be better than the metal
gears, though.

Adding a set of calipers/readouts will make the need for the 0.050
screws go away.
