If you mean the 128-bit set usually sold by Harbor Freight, you don't WANT to match the rest because the quality isn't especially high (though it's OK). What I do is whenever a bit from my set breaks or gets dull, I replace it with one from McMaster-Carr, the online supplier. Their bits are pricey, but very high quality. That way I have a complete set and the most-used ones are better than Harbor Freight quality. Also, I always buy more than one replacement so I'll have a spare the next time.
McMaster-Carr is expensive, but their selection is vast and their customer service and shipping are unmatched. I live in NYC, and I've bought something online from them and had it arrive the same day.

The ½" and 3/8" are missing. Most of the #24 thru 60 are also MIAbut I'm not concerned with those.

The mill went for $1450 and they pulled the vise ($330), the swivel base and sold those separately.
Also they pulled the collet rack and sold that separate as well which really sucks IMHO There was one missing in the set and I suppose it was the one in the mill holding the cutter.
Where I stand right now.
I have searches out on C/L for a mill as well as e-bay and I am planning on a trip to MO in June that will include a run to Springfield for the Grizzly tent sale. Maybe I will get lucky and snag a floor model closeout or scratch & dent unit.

I had a blast at the sale and also picked up a new Craftsman bench grinder for a good price.
And the big Baldor unit w/stand brought $490 and the big air compressor went for $1400

You have a lot of mill options in a price range of $1500 to $2500. From what you have described as your need, you might be fine at more or less the $1500 end and put some of the balance of the money toward tooling and measuring items.

I have a feeling, judging from the number (over 50) of folks there yesterday afternoon for the preview, that I may just be coming home empty handed.
At this point, after looking on line at mills of many kinds, I am of a mind when I get one, just to get what tooling I need when I need it.
I have found Kurt & Kurt style vises on line for $150 & up
The one on the auction has a swivel base and I'm sure ut will command a big price.
#1 looking at a dovetail column unit
#2 $1500-$2500 price range
I have made a list of the machine tool stuff and will note the price when it sells.
If anyone would care to know later today what any item sells for, just holler.
Should be over by 2 PM or so.
