If you used the F+ and F- posts to power the motor you could have a problem. The correct output terminals are A+ @ A-
Best bet is to get a multi meter and see what you've got going on.

I hooked up a kbws-25d controlled to my mini mill, but I don't seem to be able to get any dc output to the motors it looks like I have it wired up correct but no output voltage and I do have the h/p resistor install, the boards led lights up so I know it has power...
