I'm sure it's doable. But, from LMS, they're hardened to Rc 58-62 which is "pretty hard." :)
That's about as hard as a drill bit or a nice kitchen knife. That might be hard to drill, but others might have other opinions. I'd imagine those vises would have to be hard enough to avoid being marred by the steel we clamp in it.
Which flavor do you have? Holes on the side? Slots on the side?
