Thanks for posting the photos. My mill is a Real Bull, and it came with a type of negator spring assembly. This, however, is quite ineffective and works better in some positions than others, depending upon the angle of the arm attached to the spring. I've also considered the pneumatic cylinders that are now standard on some mills, but I like the idea of a consistent upward force.
