I couldn't sleep last night (nothing new, I work nights..) and went out to the shop. I installed the X-axis DRO and tested it (had to do some soldering and such), and also installed the column and head. Powered it up for a quick check and all is well; new bearings are smooth and quiet. Still need to break them in.
The plan for today is to get the Z-axis scale installed, make mounts and install the y-axis, tram everything and adjust all the gibs again. Oh; and re-install the air spring and custom tach-sensor housing I built.
