How complex is the part?

Any parts that don't do well on a lathe or mill?  Boxes?  containers?

Well, if you needed to reduce a diameter, or change thickness, it could be done quickly and easily on a lathe or mill. Printing a new piece depending on the part could take hours. Time is money.
