Some do and some don't. My MicroMark was not marked by my neighbor's was. It seems from the emails here that its about half and half. I've also worked on two other HF/Sieg units that the marked slots were not the best choice for the provided jaws.
Another variable is that the #1 external and #1 internal jaw don't favor the #1 chuck slot.
If these were all sold to experienced machinists, it would probably be better to not mark the chuck body at all unless they were marked after hand-fitting at the factory. Then everyone would be obligated to test their jaws during setup.
The one thing that is handy is the jaws marked 1-2-3. That is a definite order that cannot be changed in the field.

I wasn't aware of that, since my HF lathe has stamps at the chuck slots. Sorry if I misled anyone.
