RE: [GrizHFMinimill] Re: Ring light measurements

Paul,

I got the 12VDC 12W power supply here http://www.elementalled.com/12v-adapter.html , removed the board from it, and hooked it up to the mill's 110V switch. I used 3M double-sided foam tape to fasten it in the mill's control box.

The aux switch on the LED board is so that I can shut it off to use my laser center finder without powering down the whole mill. The switch itself came from Radio Shack.

I got the rare earth magnets that hold the board to the mill head at Rockler woodworking. I used a connector in the power cable so that I can simply pop the board off if I ever need to clean it.

The board was 3/32" acrylic from Home Depot that was left over from one of my wife's projects.

Rob
Can you recommend the power supply you used on your setup. Like what I see in your pictures and would like to copy your setup
